PROJECT MANAGER CENTRAL ENGINEERING

Who we are looking for As a member of the Central Engineering department, the candidate: is responsible for the feasibility study, planning, preliminary design, specification, procurement support, installation, commissioning and hand-over of central and international capital projects within the Industrial Operations of the Group; applies technical expertise and project management principles during all project stages; supports the management in the development of the business plan by analysing the general requirements (volumes, timeline, processes, organization) and translating them into investment proposals with a look towards innovation technologies; translates the Company needs/goals into technical specifications and projects; develops a detailed project plan and monitors projects for variations in scope, schedule, budget and risk; establishes, supports and motivates a mixed, cross-functional and multi-cultural project team (central and local resources), managing the relationship with internal and external stakeholders; selects and manages professional consultants, contractors and suppliers; manages and coordinates the execution stages of projects within he is involved; promotes Environmental, Health and Safety awareness through all project stages; during the commissioning stage, helps in setting up the organization, define and apply work procedures, promote the training of personnel involved in the project; checks, reviews and approves documentation as drawings, calculations, requirements, certificates, EHS documents; collects, develops and shares the know-how within the Central Engineering department, supporting the colleagues in the understanding and application of it on their specific projects, promoting the application of Group standards and best practices. Place of work: Kerakoll, Via Dell’Artigianato 9-Sassuolo (MO) If you have University degree in Engineering; 5 to 10 years of working experience as project manager especially in the industrial or automation field; Passion in applying the theoretical knowledge into actual challenges, strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills; Good knowledge of Autocad, MS Project and MS Office suite; Fluent Italian and English language is a must Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; Enthusiasm for excellence, team working, trust, collaboration and proactiveness; Experience with complex engineering projects and a structured approach to project management; Understanding of processes and processing equipment, good technical background; Ability to analyse, simplify, prioritize and innovate; Availability to frequent travels abroad; What we offer you A personalized and continuous training course thanks to which you will be able to develop skills to move safely in the world of work.
