SUPPLIER MANAGER

Supplier Manager Supplier Management leads and manages the sourcing, contracting and supplier base management of Tetra Pak. The team has full accountability for cost, with an underlying objective to provide World Class Quality & Performance at the lowest cost and with a focus on supply chain agility, sustainability and resilience. Within this organization we are looking for a Supplier Manager who will have an high level of responsibility in SuM Equipments team in Modena, driving and developing category strategies and supplier related activities in alignment with business strategies, to secure the achievement of KPI’s related to quality, cost and delivery and strong focus on securing supply: a complexity element within the current global scenario. The position is located in Modena – Italy. The job will require travelling. What you will do In this position you will be responsible for: Ensuring definition, deployment and successful implementation of categories strategies within the area of responsibility; Secure supply of goods to guarantee Tetra Pak business continuity in challenging periods in the market for material cost and availability Drive supplier selection and development in accordance to commodity strategy, risk management, global process and new technology/product requirements; Secure and maintain a supplier base in line with business requirements; Ensure supplier agreements reflect current and future business needs in terms of quality, availability and competitive cost of components; Coordination of activities with main stakeholders, e.g. D&T, PSE Operations, Tetra Pak Services for the categories of responsibility. We believe you have Language and Education: You have a University degree in Economics or Engineering. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Professional Skills and Experience: You have at least 3 years experience in supplier management or supplier quality management or procurement. Solid know-how in supply chain will be considered a plus. SAP, BO, Ariba, PowerBI good knowledge are considered as a plus. Personal Qualifications: The position demands a good level of commercial, relational and negotiation skills. As a person you are a driver with strong communication skills and you can cooperate with customers, suppliers and colleagues at your level or superior level to achieve common goals and maintain effective working relationships. You can get others to see and believe your points, and you are analytical, methodical and efficient. Current markets situation requires high dynamism, capability to change quickly directions and plans and to work under pressure with potential workload peaks given by delivery crisis management.
