TEST ENGINEER

Within Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions we are looking for a Test Engineer who will widen his technical knowledge about verification & validation process, with a deep focus on our equipment development. In this role you will be an individual contributor and the work will involve the whole Verification & Validation process of our equipment, from evaluation of designs and choice of test methodology, through planning and execution to analysis, to findings of technical alternatives and reports. This is a permanent position based in Modena (Italy). You will be asked to travel up to 30% of your time to suppliers and customers sites. What you will do As a Test Eengineer you will be responsible for: Equipment as a technical reference Environment and equipment configuration where the test activities will take place Supporting the V&V execution and the Test Readiness and Sign-off Conducting test making sure that they are error-free and in line with the test specification Reporting and presenting deviations and results, providing also corrective actions and solutions Providing the needed technical information to Functional Competencies such as Mechanical Designers and Automation Engineers as well as to Technical Editors Who you are You have a technical education in Mechatronic, Mechanical, Automation Degree or similar We are looking for both young and experienced candidates up to 3/4 years of testing experience in Automatic Machine with mechatronic content (Liquid Food Packaging Machine), or similar position in testing environment and field experienced, preferably in the area of food packaging You have mechanical skills; assembling and disassembling of component and sub-system You have electrical competence in reading electrical diagram and cabling You have pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge in reading pneumatic and hydraulic circuits and cabling You have automation skills and knowledge on different platform (eg: Rockwell, Beckhoff) You are familiar with several testing techniques and tools in order to be able to implement and understand results (physical testing capability) You have technical writing competence in order to create technical project documentation conveying information clearly and accurately Knowledge of World Class Engineering (robust Design, DOE, P Diagram and Green?Black belt Six Sigma) is a plus Knowledge of 3D drawing tool (like Creo or similar) is a plus Knowledge of statistical tools for results/data interpretation is a plus You are fluent in Italian and English both written and spoken You have a combination of an analytical and practical mind You have good communication skill and you are able to build strong relationships You are able to work in a team as well as an individual in a complex environment You have a proactive and result oriented approach and good problem solving ability to overcome daily challenges You are willing to strengthen technical competence, learn on the fly, take initiatives and support project activities We offer you Variety of exciting challenges with wide opportunities for development and training in a truly global landscape Culture that pioneers spirit of innovation where our engineering genius drives visible result Equal opportunity employment experience that values difference and diversity Market competitive compensation and benefits with flexible working arrangements Apply now!
