Within our Manufacturing Development Center (MDC) function, we are looking for a Manager Planning MDC, reporting to the Director MDC and based in Bologna In this position you will: Contribute to MDC processes and strategies by leading planning activities of the function and providing reports on performance results and analysis of business opportunities. In your role, you will be responsible to lead the consolidation of Industrial Projects and Prototyping plans in order to improve predictability in terms of capacity allocation, performance/cost results, timely implementation of productivity initiatives and reliable financial outcomes. Finally, the Manager Planning will lead alignment of activities with counterparts at various departments of MTB and central PMI Functions (PPMD, Product and Process Development, Product PMO, Supply Chain, NPTI and ES Functions Key tasks include but are not limited to: • Develop functional plans and set of KPI's to measure performance and to contribute to overall MDC and MTB performance indicators. Ensure the proper preparation of regular reports and meetings. Verify, analyze and present information regarding results and corrective actions if necessary. • Create and follow up on the functional masterplan and contribute to MTB Open+ Initiatives Management pillar requirements. • Lead direct reports to ensure effective Prototyping and Industrial Projects schedule is in place being aligned with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and QA. Continuously develop collaborative environment between MDC Prototyping and MTB/PMI functions. • Ensure quality of output through effective motivation, training and development of direct reports. • Drive the communication flows with relevant stakeholders and MTB for timely updates on business activities, results and projects status, supporting proper business decisions. • Ensure original budget/long rang plan and revised forecast budgeting planning cycles and requirements are met in close cooperation with MTB, ES and central Planning and Finance functions. Establish and manage overall MDC budget (Departments and Projects) in line with the strategy. Control Projects financials in adherence to budget and PMI Finance forecasts. Report financial status and any significant deviations on time to Management by initiating relevant reviews. • Comply with all EHS&S policies and procedures effective in PMMTB. Actively participate in improvement actions that reduce environmental impact and increase all employees' safety. Act in conformity with Compliance and Integrity principles, promoting compliance culture. We are looking for someone with: • University degree in Engineering or Sciences • More than 2 year in RRP (reduced risk products) operations environment would be preferred • Knowledge of Prototyping, Industrialization and Manufacturing processes. • Capability to lead teams and projects. • Well-developed IT skills and experience with MS Office Package. Good usage of SAP, PDIMS, PLM and other traceability platforms. • Knowledge of Operations finance fundamentals. • Fluent in English written and spoken and desirable Italian.
