We are looking for a Power Trader with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Commodities and Power Trading on medium, short e intraday markets. The candidate has the aim of developing the company’s presence on the main European Markets, finding new trading opportunities and strategies in the energy markets and consolidating the role of Illumia Trend as a rapidly growing Group. Job responsabilities: Identify and develop trading opportunities and strategies on European Power Markets (Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Nordics, UK and Hungary) Develop Cross Commodities strategies (Gas, Power, Coal, etc ..) and Emission Trading Develop fundamental analysis of the power and gas markets Assist junior traders Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of experience in Energy and Commodities Trading A proven track record of success is a plus An understanding of fundamental methods in portfolio development A Mathematical / Phisical / Statistical / Finance or similar degree Proficient/Good knowledge of Excel and VBA Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English language Knowledge of another language is a plus Ability to remain calm under pressure Communication skills and ability to work in a team Excellent problem solving skills Spirit of initiative and ability to take responsibility So take this opportunity to join one of the most successful italian power trading teams.
