Quantitative Analyst

To be successful in this role, you must have a flair for numbers and logical reasoning, you must be able to tackle and quickly solve problems. Job responsibilities will include: Taking active part in developing algorithmic trading models, quantitative models; Conducting market analysis to find new profit opportunities and build strategies to tap into them; Developing and executing day-to-day and intraday strategies; Obtaining expert understanding of the key drivers of the power market; Providing open and honest feedback; To be successful in this role you will have the following: A Mathematical / Phisical / Statistical / Finance or similar degree Accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail Strong interest and experience in trading, markets and energy systems An interest in the commodity markets Ability to remain calm under pressure Communication skills and ability to work in a team Proficient/Good knowledge of Excel, Python, VBA.
