YOUR ‘DAY TO DAY’
As a Due Diligence Program Manager you will be part of Operations Sustainability department for Philip Morris International and will be reporting to the Senior Manager Strategy & Program Delivery position. The position is based in Crespellano (Italy).
Specific responsibilities include:
• Establish standardized global Operation Sustainability frameworks for due diligence, risk assessment, and certification processes, and manage the relationship with service providers and/or reporting platforms
• Manage the due diligence in our supply chain leveraging on an external service provider
• Stay abreast of global macro trends in the sustainability due diligence area and provide input to the S&PD pillar strategies (including the outside-in)
• Apply sophisticated project management principles, practices and techniques to problem solving
• Lead all aspects of the program planning and execution process, ensuring that the program is effectively planned and mobilized, and delivered to agreed cost, time and quality metrics
• Once complete, ensure program is optimally closed by finalizing deliverables, acquiring program governance board approval to close the program and completing hand-over activities. Facilitate program lessons learned sessions and communicate/ document outcomes
Key Qualifications:
• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a similar education is preferred
• 10 years’ work experience in program management and in sustainability due diligence and certifications; supplier due diligence experience is a clear plus
• A creative and problem-solver, with the ability to think ‘in an unexpected way’ when encountering project challenges
• Strong influencing and collaboration skills; able to advise and constructively challenge senior team members
• Experience with various project/ program tools and techniques
• Proficiency in English both oral and written, Italian is beneficial
