PLM Application Expert
Tetra Pak is developing and delivering End to End connected solutions in the Food & Beverage industry.
We are looking for a talented Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) Application Expert to join our team specializing in IT/OT Technology for Automation and Digital Systems & Integration Team.
This position will be focusing on the definition, design and management of the solution that manages the configuration of digital products, a combination of Mechanical solution and a software on-prem and cloud solution.
Travelling is 20% of the time is possible.
What You Will Do
As a PLM Application Specialist in this position you will be responsible for:
Analyzing business requirements and development of system solutions focused on the engineering, manufacturing and product development business processe
Facilitating working sessions with a diverse group of individuals for different project/enhancement needs e.g. to gather requirements or to demonstrate software function
Evaluate rapid prototype solutions that meet business requirements in the Windchill PLM system
Author, update and own the functional design specifications and maintain traceability of Deliverables
Coordinates technical team including developers, system administrators, contractors and other analysts in the delivery of solutions
Conduct Stakeholder Reporting service calls and regulate monthly resource consumption for PLM Support
Validate developed solution against requirements to ensure categorization of defects in solution development
Communicate with business team and respective stakeholders on testing events and ensuring business resource availability
Articulate scope and manage monthly build bucket
Manage Deliverables by working with vendor resources within budget, maintaining quality
Liaise between upstream/downstream stakeholders and PLM team for implementing / resolving any enhancements / delivery issues
Lead the implementation of PLM application technologies and provide upgrade to all product development activities.
Manage all engineering data and design various downstream tools for all PLM processes
Coordinate with various business partners to prepare appropriate strategies and implement it
Collaborate with all PLM software applications suppliers and assist in configuration of appropriate supplier relationship management solution
Administer all new investment spending plans for all global market for all material specifications and release for same
Monitor efficient integration of all business applications efficiently in all PLM systems
Provide training to all engineering team and provide enhancement to various PLM application
Coordinate with suppliers to maintain knowledge on all specifications
Who You Are
We believe that you have:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in PLM or ALM solutions, process and technology, preferably Windchill
University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering
Fluent communication skill in English is a must
Business administration and configuration knowledge of several areas of Windchill functionality is required, such as Security Labels and Agreements, CAD Data Management, Change process, Type and Attribute Management, Classification.
Sound knowledge of NPI, Change Management, Release Processes and eBoM - Engineering Bill of Materials or mBoM - Manufacturing Bill of Materials in PLM environment
Knowledge of project management, stakeholder and scope negotiation management, procurement management, PTC Suite and Jira Software development tool
Experience with product configuration and advanced BOM management is a plus
Experience configuring, managing or deploying a Windchill cloud is desirable
Experience working in agile development methodology is a plus
Experience in software configuration management
Production support stakeholder management and delivery management is advantageous
