Senior Industrialization Specialist

We secure an optimised and fully integrated package solution for customers of Tetra Pak by offering our food-safe, cost-driven, environmentally sound, complete portfolio of Additional Material products. Additional Material complements the Packaging Material to shape a complete Tetra Pak package. Within Additional Materials, the new Tetra Pak Closures organisation are today supplying 39 bio plastic caps, produced by more than 200 production lines located in 5 Tetra Pak factories and another 13 external supplier’s plants. You will join the Tetra Pak Closures organization and secure high level knowledge in injection moulding technologies, own equipment requirements for closures manufacturing and secure mass manufacturing capabilities of closures specification. In this position, you are reporting to the Man-ager, Industrial Engineering - Closures and you will be member of the Industrial Engineering Team. Location is in Modena, Italy. The position requires approx. 40% of travelling time. Tetra Pak is committed to protecting its employees, customers and you, our candidates. Main responsibilities Secure high level knowledge about plastic injection moulding process, applied to closures Secure high level knowledge about related equipment and technologies (presses, moulds, downstream automation, integrated systems for mass production) Own equipment specifications for closures production Own verifications and validations protocols Secure equipment tests and validation execution Contribute to DSO projects and improvement activities related to caps, driving industrialization of production lines Represent Closures in governance forums (PTR, TTR) Facilitate cross-functional knowledge transfer Technical scouting – relentless seek of external exper-tise and solution providers, to secure continuous inno-vation by available cutting edge technological solution Qualifications Education and Languages: To be a successful candidate you should have a Degree in Engineering or Science University. A very good command of English both written and verbal is a must. Professional Skills and Experience: You have several years’ experience and a very deep knowledge in the competence area of injection moulding technology and infrastructure. Project Management experience will be considered as a plus. Personal Qualifications: As a person you are pro-active, self motivated and assertive. You are comfortable in personal inter-relationship and you naturally engage in building and maintaining professional relationship. You are able to anticipate and understand a complex situation; you manage to review the implications and consequences of problems and possible solutions. You pursue everything with discipline, energy, drive and a need to finish. You are used to place priority and structure to work related matters and you are methodical, attentive to details and efficient. You have a clear and concise communication style.
