Technical Manager

Inside Tetra Pak D&E Automation & Digital the HW Platform Development is responsible for corporate standards, design, documentation and validation of the electrical platform competitiveness, managing the technical specifications of packaging lines and individual equipment. We are about to initiate major updates in our hardware platforms, supplier base, design tools and way of working. Therefore, we are aiming to further strengthen our team with a senior engineer in a leadership position. What you will do: In this position, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and lead a team working with technical challenges in a stimulating and creative work environment to develop Tetra Pak’s future packaging systems. We can offer you a leading role with hands-on and analytical work in a team with a positive and supportive atmosphere. You will be the key interface to the HW Platform Design Team in Modena. You will focus on: Coordinating and supporting our electrical design team in Modena. Driving changes in HW strategy and it’s implementation in impacted projects. Maintaining guidelines and technical plans. Take active part in technology roadmap and strategies regarding electrical hardware platform. Technical Scouting. Responsible for partners in the electrical design area for Modena site. This position will be located to Modena, but you will work in a global arena. Some travelling is required. Who you are: To be successful in this position we believe you are a skilled engineer with a strong focus on problem solving, result and quality. You are a team player taking an interest in collaborating with others, who can lead and drive activities in your area. You have a background as electrical designer with technical education. Experience in application of complex technical solutions and good knowledge in product development is of high value. Building networks in order to understand and solve technical issues comes natural to you. Since you will be acting in a context with many different perspectives you are good at handling change.
